[Bug] set "ShellBackgroundColor" doesn't take effect for ios

Description

when setting Shell.ShellBackgroundColor for page it doesn't change the color for ios

Steps to Reproduce

  1. create new xamarin forms shell app
  2. in AppShell.xaml there is:
    <Setter Property="Shell.ShellBackgroundColor" Value="Blue" />
  3. go to the created about.xaml and set Shell.ShellBackgroundColor="Red" in the content page header.

Expected Behavior

navigation bar for the page should become red on ios

Actual Behavior

it is remaining blue

  • Version with issue: 4.0 pre 10

  • Platform Target Frameworks:

    • iOS: 12
