Description

It should be possible, at least in some cases, to automatically (de-)serialize data from/to the XMLRPC format. This would be pretty cool to have. Investigate and prototype!

Research direction
Investigate Serde's Serialize and Deserialize traits and design a mapping from XML RPC types (int, string, boolean, double, struct, array, base64, dateTime.iso8601, nil) to Rust types. Look at existing crates like serde xml rs or quick xml for XML parsing and serde integration. Prototype a simple serialization/deserialization for common types, then handle complex structures with optional fields and nested elements. Document the design and any limitations.
