Description

From https://github.com/elastic/cloud-on-k8s/pull/8716#discussion_r2176967404: ReconcileResource does not add the owner if it is not present in the existing resource.

Adding good first issue label as I'm suspecting it should be easy to fix this (I could be wrong though. 🙃 )

Locate the ReconcileResource function in the codebase and inspect how it handles owner references when the resource does not yet exist. Check the code path where new resources are created and add the owner reference before creation if missing.
