This issue is for first-time contributors to test our project's development setup instructions on a Windows machine, as this is a WPF application. Your feedback will help us make it easier for new people to join our project!

We are looking for feedback on whether the instructions in our CONTRIBUTING.md are clear and correct for Windows users.
