Description

🏠 New Feature: Complete Homepage UI for PicoForge

📌 Summary

We need a fully designed, polished, modern homepage UI for PicoForge – the Micro Startup Incubator. This will be the first thing users see, so it must clearly communicate what the platform is, how it works, and why they should care. The homepage should reflect the mission: helping creators turn raw ideas into early-stage startups through community validation and collaboration.

This is a full UI creation task, not just tweaks. It includes layout, content blocks, visuals, and user flows.

🎯 Goals

The homepage should immediately explain:

  • What PicoForge is
  • Why it exists
  • How users can participate
  • What core features they get
  • How to start contributing

It must look credible, welcoming, and startup-friendly.

📐 Key Sections Required

1. Hero Section

Purpose: Instantly explain the platform and pull users in.
Should include:

  • Headline like: “Turn raw ideas into real startups together.”
  • Subtext summarizing the incubator
  • A strong call-to-action:
    • Submit an Idea
    • Explore Ideas
  • A subtle secondary CTA for:
    • Join the Community

Visual ideas:

  • Abstract collaboration illustrations
  • Light tech-style shapes
  • Minimalist founder-focused imagery

2. Why PicoForge Exists

A clean, 3–4 card layout summarizing the problem:

  • Most ideas die in notes
  • No structure
  • No collaboration
  • No validation

And the solution:

  • A space to grow ideas
  • Community-based validation
  • Easy collaboration
  • Roadmap to MVP

3. Core Features Overview

Showcase the 8 major features with icons:

  1. Idea Submission
  2. Community Validation
  3. Collaboration Requests
  4. Workspace
  5. Team & Role Management
  6. Progress Tracking
  7. Explore Page
  8. User Profiles

Each as a card with title + 1 sentence.

4. How It Works (3-Step Flow)

A simple timeline/step design:

  1. Share your idea
  2. Get community validation
  3. Build it with collaborators

Optional: include illustrations.

5. Showcase / Preview area

Placeholders for future:

  • Idea cards (trending / new / featured)
  • Example workspace screenshots (to be added later)
  • Small blurb “More coming soon”

6. Community Callout

Short section encouraging participation:

  • Designers
  • Developers
  • Marketers
  • Content creators

With small circular icons or avatars.

7. Footer

Include:

  • Navigation
  • GitHub link
  • Roadmap
  • License
  • Socials (future placeholder)
